理念 Concept

本土教育国际化,国际教育本土化的新教育格局下,济宁孔子国际学校高中国际部秉承总校长曹伦华先生大文化视角,精英化教育的办学理念,引进美国优质教育资源及评价体系。在此中西文化激情碰撞,中美课程完美融合,中外师生零距离对话,力求形成独特的办学模式,推动济宁教育国际化发展的进程。

The principle of JCIS, Mr. Cao present “widen cultural field of vision, promote elite education” the educational proposal given today’s situation, which is “internationalize the traditional education, traditionalize the international education”. Hereby, the educational model of JCIS, a crash of Chinese and Western culture, a perfect combination of Chinese and American courses, a zero-distance communication between Chinese and international teachers and students.  The unique educational mode aims to promote the process of Jining educational nationalization.

学贯中西 对话世界——孔子国际学校高中国际部致力于培养一代出国前了解中国、出国中关注中国、学成后服务于中国的具有中华民族文化底蕴,通晓国际规则,具有跨文化理解力的国际型人才。

Have a thorough knowledge on both Chinese and Western culture, communicate with the world.  The international department of high school is committed to producing a generation of “knew China before going aboard, concern about China while learn in the foreign countries, serve China after finished the learning” talents of the world rooted in Chinese history and culture, but also have a good knowledge of international rules and intercultural understanding.

勤于思考 勇于探究——培养和发展学生们与生俱来的好奇心,学习并掌握开展探索和研究的必要技能,允许学生以批判性和创造性的思维方式来识别和处理问题,并做出合理性的判断。

To be diligent in thinking and dare to explore in depth: to nurture and develop students’ native curiosity, in order to guide them to learn the essential skills for research and exploration study. Also allow students to deal with the problems in critical and innovative ways and then provide the reasonable judgments on their own.

自主选择 自我决断——培养学生形成自我评估的能力,了解自己的长处和局限性,对自己的学习和经历做出缜密的思考,自主抉择并勇于承担其责任。

Independent choice and self-determination. To train the students to learn the ability of self-evaluation and their advantages and limitations.  Learn how to make a decision after self-thinking and take a full responsibility for it as well.

思维开放 善于交流——了解和欣赏本民族的文化历史,并对其他个人和社会群体的传统价值观采取开放和包容的态度。同时能够运用一种以上的语言在多样化的模式中有效而愉快地与他人交流与合作。

Open-mind and be good at communication.  Learn how to understand and appreciate the national culture and history and how to hold an open and tolerant attitude towards traditional value viewpoints from the others.  In the meantime, learn to use more than one language to communicate and collaborate with people effectively and pleasantly in the multi-culture situations. 

博爱包容 尊重他人——倡导博爱、包容的大爱文化心态,理解和同情他人的需要和感受,尊重他人的尊严。懂得尊重他人是一名合格的国际型人才应具备的基本品质。

Love, forgive and caring.  Advocating the cultural mentality of love and forgive, and understanding and sympathizing others’ needs and feelings, and knowing how to show respect for others.  Learn to know how to respect people is the basic quality of being a qualified international talent.

身心健康 全面发展——孔子国际学校高中国际部重视学生学业和情感的发展,同时更重视学生拥有健康的体魄和良好的精神风貌,这是学生服务于社会,体现自我价值的先决条件。

Have a health status on both physical and mentality, all-round development.  The international department of high school has paid attention to students’ promotion on study and emotion as well as their healthy and good mental outlook, which is a prerequisite of achieving self-value by serving the communities.

 

课程设置 The Curriculum

AP课程——高中国际部拟开设美国高中课程及微积分、物理、化学、宏观经济、微观经济、统计学、计算机科学等课程,并实施理科双语教学。

AP courses: the international department plans to set up American courses and AP curricula including calculus, physics, chemistry, macro-economics and micro-economics, statistics and computer science, etc.  The department also intends to establish a bilingual educational mode for delivering the knowledge.

语言课程——开设学术英语及中文教学,将托福TOEFL SAT等语言培训纳入课程计划。

Language courses: The department plans to set up an academic learning model in assistant promoting the language training plan involves TOEFL, IELTS and SAT.

社团及社会实践课程--高中国际部在课程设置中将安排一定比例的课外社团活动和社会实践性教学活动,如:商业活动俱乐部、职业规划俱乐部;网球、武术、游泳、摄影、模拟联合国、志愿者社团;雅思口语、德语等语言类社团,以及管弦乐队、英文合唱团、舞蹈等艺文活动社团。

Students’ Association and social practice courses: the international department of high school plans to arrange some after-school activities and social practice based on a certain percentage, for instance, business club and career consulting club; tennis club, Chinese martial art club, swimming club, photography club, model United Nations and volunteering community; language clubs such as IELTS speaking and German Speaking, etc.; the art activity clubs include orchestra,choir and dance, etc.

课程特色Features

(一)双语并重Bilingual Teaching Model

双语教育潜移默化,通过国内外优质教育资源的有机融合,取各家所长,兼容并蓄。除外教以英文教授的课程之外,孔子国际学校高中国际部还将开设孔孟文化、书法、中国戏曲、武术、中文阅读与写作等国学课程。

The bilingual educational model is a combination of the advantages of high-quality education resource from Chinese and Western educational system.  Including the courses by foreign lecturers, the international department also plans to establish some Chinese traditional culture courses such as the culture of Confucius and Mencius, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese opera, Chinese martial art and Chinese reading and writing, etc.

(二)国际交流 International exchange

与美国、加拿大、英国等国缔结姊妹学校并各加强互动往来,同时开展暑期赴英、美、加等国的修学旅行项目,让我们的学子更好地了解国外大学和拓宽视野。

The international department of high school has a strong relationship with other schools in America, Canada and Britain, and aims to enforce the interactivity with them as well.  In the meantime, the department intends to set up the oversea study tours in order to understand the universities of the world and broaden their horizons.

(二)创新思考Innovation

现在国内孩子普遍缺乏创新思考能力和主动探究问题的精神。AP课程启发式、参与式、讨论式的教学模式及专题探讨课堂要求学生小组合作,共同商议,汲取众家之长。这一教学方式可以有效帮助学生学会分析问题和解决问题,从而创造性的思考,逐步提升自我探索、研究的能力。

In general, the Chinese students are lack of innovative ability and explorativespirit.  The model of AP courses requires the students’ ability of group-work and group-discussion, which can guide students to analyze and solve the problem, in order to learn creative thinking and develop the ability of self-exploration and research skills.

 

(四)服务意识Service Awareness

具备国际竞争力的社会菁英,除了自身的知识与能力外,更应对社会有高度的责任感,拥有服务社会、服务他人的热忱,体现作为社会属性的个体的社会价值。

孔子国际学校高中部在学生的品格教育中除了贯穿始终的尊重自我和尊重他人的教育外,还将为学生规划社会公益活动,如校内志愿者活动、社区义工活动、慈善义卖、慈善义演、敬老院探访、贫困山区学校义务服务等,培养学生关怀社会和他人的服务意识,这些也是世界名校培养顶尖人才的品格条件。

To be competitive talents of the world, not only requires individual knowledge and ability but also a strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm towards serving the society, in order to fulfill individual value.

The character education aims to develop student’s personal characters based on two educational theories, self-esteem and respect for others.  The departments also plans to organize public activities, for example, the school volunteer activity, community volunteering activity, charity auction and charity show, visiting gerocomiums, go to the rural schools and do voluntary service with them, in order to develop the students’ awareness of caring people and helping people.   These qualities also are the standards of the famous international universities training their students.

 

我们的师资 Our Teachers

济宁孔子国际学校高中国际部课程由专业外教和中方双语教师共同授课。高中国际部聘请有丰富教学经验的资质专业外教授课,同时中方双语教师随堂听课、课堂答疑、课后辅导,并安排有适量中方教师的双语课程,以利于学生更快更好地掌握语言之外的学科。

The international department of high school arranges professional foreign teachers to cooperate with Chinese teachers to teach the courses.  The department plans to hire the professional foreign teachers with rich teaching experience, in the meantime, the Chinese bilingual teachers attend to course lectures, cope with the problems in class and tutor students after class.  The departments also arrange bilingual courses by Chinese teachers for ensure the students can effectively study the other courses.

 

升学指导Guidance

AP课程班的学生在完成高中课程后参加APTOEFL考试,直接进入美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚等英语国家的大学就读。高中国际部学术中心会根据学生的意愿和自身学习情况,负责向海外大学推荐,并提供学籍证明、成绩单、推荐信、毕业证明等,帮助学生申请美国为主的世界一流大学以及加拿大、英国、澳大利亚、新西兰、新加坡、香港等数十个国家和地区的大学。

The students in AP class, they plan to directly go to the western universities in America, Britain, Canada, and Australia after they have completed the AP courses and then attend the AP and TOEFL test. The academic center of international department is in charge of recommending students to the foreign universities according to the students’ intentions and individual learning conditions.

The academic center also provides the materials such as student status certificate, transcript, recommendation letter and diploma for guiding students to apply the first-class universities of the world, mainly in America and also the universities in Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong, etc.
